Safety
Before we build anything, we check what you take.
Tell us what you take. Personally screens your declared medications for relevant supplement interactions and nutrient-depletion considerations before we formulate. Most supplement brands don't ask. We do.
The screen
The check happens before
the formula exists.
When you build your formula, you tell us what you take. Prescriptions, the things from the pharmacy shelf, other supplements. You tell us about anything you're managing, too.
That information doesn’t sit in a file somewhere. It is built into how your formula is made. If something you take has a known interaction with an ingredient, we leave that ingredient out before your formula is ever put together. Not flagged afterwards. Not caught by a person reading your order. Left out at the point we build it.
Held back when it interacts with what you takeit isn't right for your profilewe aren't certain
What you tell us
It starts with one honest list.
You tell us what you take, in the quiz. The more we know, the better the screen, so we make it easy to share everything.
- Your prescriptions, and anything from the pharmacy shelf
- Other supplements, and conditions you're managing
- You can change what you've told us right up until a formula ships
An illustration of what you'd enter, not a medical assessment.
Examples
Most people are never told
their medication changes what they need.
It isn't something most people are told. But the medicines you take can quietly change your nutrition.
Some medicines can change supplement decisions. For example:
is linked with lower vitamin B12 levels.
can lower CoQ10 levels.
may affect whether certain mood-support ingredients are appropriate.
Personally screens your declared medications before formulating. These are exactly the things a screen is for.
Examples, not a complete list. Your formula is screened against everything you declare. Why you can trust this
We didn’t hire a celebrity.
We were founded by a surgeon.
No famous face is telling you to trust us. The proof is who built Personally, how it’s made, and a Formula that shows its work, so you don’t have to take our word for it.
A surgeon's standard

Patent-protected method
Our formulation approach is covered by two US patents, 11,710,551 and 12,580,067.
Boulder cGMP manufacturing

An evidence-assessed library
Formulas draw on 70+ evidence-assessed ingredients, in named active forms with disclosed doses.

“There is no average body. That's why your Formula should not stay the same forever. When your Check-In shows changes we can respond to, we do.”

When we hold back
Sometimes the safest formula
is a smaller one.
Personalization usually means adding. Ours can mean the opposite.
If your profile means an ingredient carries a risk for you, it doesn't go in. Even when it might have helped. When we aren't sure something is right for you, we leave it out. We'd rather give you less and be certain than give you more and be sorry.
This only works because you tell us. The screen is only as good as what it knows. So we make it easy to share everything, and we'd rather you told us too much than left something out. You can change what you've told us right up until a formula ships.
The line
We're your nutrition layer.
Not your doctor.
Personally supports your nutrition and the normal way your body works. It doesn't diagnose anything, treat anything, or replace the people looking after your health.
And there's a line we hold. If something you tell us looks unsafe to formulate around, we won't proceed, and we'll say why. Personally is a nutrition layer, not medical care, and not a substitute for talking to your doctor.
Personally provides nutrition products and information, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Always tell your healthcare professional before taking any supplements, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or use prescription medication. Tell us about your medications so we can screen for relevant supplement interactions before formulating.
The questions people ask before they start.
Will Personally interact with my medication?
Tell us what you take. Personally screens your declared medications for relevant supplement interactions and nutrient-depletion considerations before we formulate. Most supplement brands don't ask. We do. We don't give medical advice, though. Speak to your doctor before starting any new supplement alongside your medication.
How the screening works →I'm on a GLP-1 medication. Is that a problem?
Not a problem to tell us. Add it to what you take, and we formulate around the interactions and the nutritional shifts that come with it. As with any new supplement, speak to your prescriber before starting. We don't provide medical advice.
Personally for GLP-1 →I'm taking or considering HRT.
Personally is designed to sit alongside medical care, including HRT where appropriate, not to replace it. Tell us, and we screen around it. Speak to your doctor before starting a new supplement alongside HRT. We don't provide medical advice.
Personally through perimenopause →What if I forget a medication, or don't know them all?
Tell us what you can, and update us when you remember. You can change what you've told us before any formula ships, so nothing is locked in. And as always, speak to your doctor before starting any new supplement.
Is it safe in pregnancy?
If you're pregnant or trying to conceive, speak to your healthcare professional before starting Personally or any new supplement.
Can this replace my doctor?
No. We're a nutrition layer, not medical care. Always tell your healthcare professional what you take, and speak to them before starting any new supplement.
