FAQ
Questions, answered.
Everything people ask before they build: what it costs, whether it is safe with what you take, and how the monthly rebuild actually works.
Starting, and what to expect.
How long until I see my formula?
A preview in about two minutes. Your full formula in about fifteen.
What do you need from me?
Your answers to the quiz. Optionally, you can connect a wearable or upload blood markers in the quiz, and we'll use them as real inputs too. You're always in control of what you share.
Will I actually feel anything?
Some people notice changes in areas such as energy, sleep or wellbeing within the first month, especially where the formula addresses a clear nutritional gap or transition. Others may not feel an obvious change. What we promise is an evidence-informed formula adapted to your data, made under FDA cGMP, and reviewed month by month.
Are there side effects?
When starting something new, some people notice mild digestive changes at first. This is common across the supplement category. If anything feels uncomfortable, check with your doctor and let us know, and we'll review your formula and adjust where appropriate. Personally isn't a substitute for medical advice. For anything specific, including interactions with your medications or health conditions, check with your doctor.
What happens after I subscribe?
Your Welcome Kit arrives in about 5 to 7 days. From there it's a rhythm: a check-in, your first monthly adjustment around day 30, and a note each month telling you what changed and why.
Who we are, and how we handle your data.
Who built Personally?
Dr Jatin Joshi, a surgeon and Hon Professor of Surgery (Translational Research), UCL, after seeing the same gap his patients kept falling into. The method is protected by two US patents.
You're a new brand. Why should I trust you?
You won't be asked to trust us. We'll show you. You review every formula before it ships, every dose is printed on your label, and every month you see exactly what changed.
I just eat better. Do I need this?
Food comes first. But when your body is changing, on a GLP-1, through perimenopause, on a medication, in a transition, your nutrition needs change too. Personally fills the gaps with targeted, evidence-informed doses.
Is my data private?
We collect health information only to build your formula, and you control what you share.
Do you diagnose or treat anything?
No. Personally supports normal nutritional function. It isn't a diagnosis or a treatment, and it doesn't replace medical care. Always tell your healthcare professional what you take.
How your formula actually behaves.
How is this different from other personalized supplements?
Most personalize once, at signup. Personally reformulates every month around the body you have now. Real personalization is reformulation, not routing.
How do I know it's actually personalized to me, and not a quiz routing me to the same formula?
You won't have to take our word for it. Every month you get a note explaining whether your formula changed, why, and what we adjusted. Personalization you can't see isn't personalization.
What if nothing has changed this month?
Then your formula stays the same, and the note tells you so. We reassess every month and only rebuild when your data warrants it. No change for the sake of change.
Can I change my formula myself?
You don't hand-tune the doses yourself. That's the algorithm's job. But before every shipment you can update what's changed for you, and you review the formula in the 7 days before it ships, so it always reflects you.
What do blood markers and wearables actually change?
They're real inputs the algorithm uses, alongside your answers, to build your formula. We'll always be straight about what's driving your formula today, and where the system is heading.
Is the algorithm just guessing?
No. It selects from an evidence-graded library, sets each dose to the evidence for your profile, and screens everything against your declared medications before finalizing. The method is patented.
What's inside, and how it's dosed.
Why is my formula's count different from 70+?
70+ is the library. Your formula draws only the ingredients that fit you, so most people end up with fewer. The number is yours, and it can change month to month as your body does.
Is more always better?
No. The aim is the right dose for you, not the highest one. More of an ingredient isn't more benefit, and some have a point past which it stops helping.
Are the doses fixed?
No. Each ingredient has a range the evidence supports. Yours is set within it for your body, and reviewed every month.
Why does the form matter (methylfolate, not folic acid)?
Because the form is part of the dose. We use named active forms your body can use, and we print every one on your label.
Where are your citations?
Every entry links to the evidence behind it, so you can read it yourself.
Is it third-party tested?
It's made in Boulder under FDA cGMP, with a label review on every formula before it ships.
Whether it's safe with what you take.
Will Personally interact with my medication?
Tell us what you take. Personally screens your declared medications for relevant supplement interactions and nutrient-depletion considerations before we formulate. Most supplement brands don't ask. We do. We don't give medical advice, though. Speak to your doctor before starting any new supplement alongside your medication.
I'm on a GLP-1 medication. Is that a problem?
Not a problem to tell us. Add it to what you take, and we formulate around the interactions and the nutritional shifts that come with it. As with any new supplement, speak to your prescriber before starting. We don't provide medical advice.
I'm taking or considering HRT.
Personally is designed to sit alongside medical care, including HRT where appropriate, not to replace it. Tell us, and we screen around it. Speak to your doctor before starting a new supplement alongside HRT. We don't provide medical advice.
What if I forget a medication, or don't know them all?
Tell us what you can, and update us when you remember. You can change what you've told us before any formula ships, so nothing is locked in. And as always, speak to your doctor before starting any new supplement.
Is it safe in pregnancy?
If you're pregnant or trying to conceive, speak to your healthcare professional before starting Personally or any new supplement.
Can this replace my doctor?
No. We're a nutrition layer, not medical care. Always tell your healthcare professional what you take, and speak to them before starting any new supplement.
What it costs, and how it works.
What does Personally cost?
$119 a month for one formula that replaces a shelf of separate products. That works out at about $3.97 a day.
Why $119 when I can buy supplements for $20?
You're not paying for the vitamins. Vitamins are cheap. You're paying for the algorithm that selects them, the medication screen that keeps them appropriate for you, the FDA cGMP manufacturing behind them, and the monthly rebuild that keeps them right as your body changes.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, in one click. No lock-in, no minimum term.
What if my formula isn't right for me?
You review every formula in the 7 days before it ships, and it's rebuilt every month around what's changed. So nothing is set in stone, and nothing ships that you haven't seen.
Can I buy it just once instead of subscribing?
Personally is built as a monthly formula because it's rebuilt each month around what's changed for you. A one-off wouldn't adapt, so it wouldn't really be Personally.
What actually arrives, and when?
Your Welcome Kit: a morning powder you mix into a drink, an evening shot, a shaker and a scoop. You just drink it, morning and evening. It arrives in about 5 to 7 days, then a rebuilt formula follows each month.
If you're on a GLP-1.
Is this an alternative to my GLP-1?
No. Personally is nutrition, not medication. It is built to work alongside what your doctor has prescribed, never to replace it.
Is this safe to take with my medication?
Tell us what you take. We screen the medications you declare for relevant interactions and nutrient-depletion considerations before we formulate. As with any new supplement, speak to your doctor before starting.
